Allbritton Communications Anyone?

Does anyone work for an Allbritton station? I heard KTUL in Tulsa laid off 13 employees last week. I was curious if that is the case for any other Allbritton stations. Does anyone know if any photogs were laid off?

I work at the Allbritton station in Birmingham, AL. No layoffs yet. But then again, I don't go in today until 2pm. Hmm...

No layoffs here at WHTM, but today a note came out about overtime. Usually we have unlimited OT which is the nice perk about this place (it makes up for the fact we still edit deck-to-deck). They are cutting back OT and cancelled the feature story I was doing tomorrow because the reporter needed to come in a few hours early to do it.

Also we are in a hiring freeze. Fortunately we are only 1 position short in the news deptartment. A bureau photog.

NoozShoot, do you guys edit linear or non-linear in your shop?
