Sony Audio Monitor

I know this topic had been posted before, I was hoping somebody knew the answer now:

The audio monitor in the viewfinder of my Sony SX camera is reading Ch 2 and I can't switch it back to Ch 1. It's always comforting when I ask our engineers something and they're stumped.

Anyone?

I'm fairly sure it cant be changed. Our engineers have looked at it as well.

There is an internal dip switch on the camera that changes which channel the front audio dail under the lens controls. When we changed that setting we thought it might change the viewfinder display, but it didnt.

There is probably a way to do it, but it might mean some internal butchering rather than a flick of the switch.
