Don't know if it's real or not, but kudos to the reporter with sticking with the story.

I don't think it's fake. The outcue and the dropping of the mic at the end is probably a funny little bit he thought of after taking the hit, but I don't think it's faked. You can see the guy on the sled trying to steer out of the way...and, more importantly, you'd have to be totally insane to try to do that on purpose. The guy could've very easily landed on his head.

Fake. Very fake.

It's not fake. This whole thing was explained on the other thread the first time it was posted.

Why is it that every time somebody posts interesting video on the internet, some idiot always starts screaming that it's fake? Does it make you feel smarter to be the first to call it fake, even though you're wrong? Do you sit in front of the computer congratulating yourself on such a well-done job of sniffing out forgeries? Should we send you a trophy?

I think if it was fake, the photog' wouldn't be seen walking up to the reporter and asking if he's alright, etc.

Fake. Very fake.

Just wondering what is fake.

Did he plan to get hit and flip completely around?
No

Plan to do a stand up with kids tobogganing in the back round?
Yes

He's not from a real TV station?
He works for Global in Toronto

I agree that there are lots of faked and staged ( what isn't on TV news) news bloopers bits floating around on the net.

I've got your "trophy" right here, spanky. :p

Sorry, the clip looked too "perfect", like it was set up. I don't recall seeing it posted here before.

BTW, get over yourself. It's just the internet.

Come on. It's 2008. The internet is all that matters anymore. I've even been trying to meet girls on this thing lately.
