Sadly, CBS has cancelled Jericho. The series' last episode airs tonight at 10 EDT.

Jericho was a quality program. Maybe the series will be picked up by another network. (TNT, TBS...) The writers have set up a good premise for another season. On the bright side, I have one less show to keep up with.

My wife and I love that show and are very sorry to see it go.

That's a shame. Jericho was a good show with a good plot line. Too bad CBS had to jerk around with it!
Networks these days won't give quality shows the chance to build an audience. Just look at some all time greats that didn't catch on until their 3rd or 4th season...Hill Street Blues and Cheers come to mind.

Agreed. Instead, we get more reality type shows. I'm sick of that crap. Everything is an elimination show nowadays. I can't believe Oprah stooped to that level, even if it is for charity.

"Reality" shows are the cheapest thing out there to produce. Of course the network suits would go for that. It means bigger end-of-year bonuses for them.
Who cares if they suck? This has become a rape-and-pilage bussiness. The management philosophy has become "squeeze as much as you can out of it in the time you're here and then move on" - to some other bussiness. Where, presumably, they'll fukk that up, too.

Funny you should say that after what I read this morning...
