This letter is Regarding a job .I am sorry that I am disturbing you, and you are hopping that who I am and why I am sending a mail to you. First let me introduce you. My Name is Hem Bahadur Adhikari. I am 24year old Man working in India, I am basically belong from Nepal Country but born and brought up in India. I was working here as a camera man and before that I was working as a Camera Assistant. I started working since 1999, when I was around 16 year old. I have to leave my School because My father lost his job and He did not get any job and he is not educated so that was the problem to not get a job. So I left my School ,when I was in 10th Standard. I am from a poor family, I always want to be in Film line. In Starting I got a job in a TV Production House, which produced Current Affairs Programmes for DD, Company owned by Mr. Saeed Naqvi( India’s Senior Journolist). Sir/Madam, I am trying to get a job in TV Production house or in Camera rental company in Abroad. Because here I was not earning so much as a cameraman, so that I had to leave this line and I joined PR firm and now I am working for a Advertisement Sponsor company, now some times I do camera for my companies program or from outside. I want to learn more about camera. I have one Dream to work in abroad country in this same line and gain my experience. I also could not get high education, so I want me to become technically strong so I can stand on my feet. I have tried so much to get a job in TV Production or in Camera rental house. I had sent so much letter regarding a job to many production house and Camera rental Company. But did not succeed. They have always one answer that we keep your information, when some position will arise we will contact you. Some body told me that they are ready to hire me but for that I have to have work permit, I have told them, that if you provide me a job than I can apply for a work permit or visa at here in Embassy. After this they stopped mailing me.
I am not looking for a big position. I am ready to do any type of work in a TV production house or in Camera Rental Company. Like Camera Assistant, Camera Attendant , I can do Camera Also, I am ready to do work like office boy, peon, any kind of back up work in production. I have knowledge of Computer; I have Little knowledge of Corel Draw and Photoshop. I have request to you Sir/Madam, please give me a chance to work with you, it will be a great learning experience to work with you. I don’t need so much money as a salary. I am ready to work in $1000 dollar per month. I will do hard work and will do any type of work in your production. Please Sir/Madam, give me a chance to work with you. If you provide me a job than I can come over there my own expanse. Please find the attached Resume and my passport Scanned copy. I am requesting for your reply. Please reply me.

ANY time I get a letter like this (broken grammar) I send it to my local FBI for authentication. Their are too many scams going around and the feds don't mind catching a criminal. If they get back to you it's probably legit, if you never hear from the feds, they are investigating further.

When I was in news, I did investigative stories on scams like this. It reeks! I'm sure at some point they will ask for a bank account number so you can "hold" his assests while he buys a new camera. The funny part is, people fall for this.

Like the letter of a prince who wants to come to America and needs to deposit his millions of dollars to your bank account so his money will be safe. Really? You picked me? Out of the millions and millions of people in this country, Mr. Prince is picking me? Ok - here's all my bank account information so you can deposit it in my account for safekeeping.

Just reply back to the person and remind them that they can get many jobs without leaving their own country. All they have to do is change their first name to something that sounds American like John, Brent, Eric, etc. Then they can move to the city of Noida and work for many large American companies who have farmed out telephone tech support jobs that used to belong to American workers.

Better yet, offer to give them a job, but only after they show how determined they are by sending YOU $1000/month until you can arrange for the trip.
