Hey Cameragod!

Maybe it's me...or my computer...but I can't get anything to play. I don't see anything either except a blank square with the B-Roll.net logo in the upper left corner.

Did you post it right or am I just being an old, computer illiterate, photog?

I went right to B-Roll.net tv to actually watch it...great "chair step move"!

I don't know if I would have had the guts to try that with the camera though. ;)

Did Steadycam sign you up to go on tour yet.

I have to admit, it's a good looking Steadycam but I think that the two of you are getting a little too intimate. On the other hand if "Dancing with the Stars" ever decides to use a steadycam you are it.

That was fun. You are one interesting cat. More outgoing than I'll ever be. I hope you aren't left hanging on Christmas.

it plays fine for me but I suddenly seem to have an audio sync problem that wasn't there last night... sigh...

Here is the google vid link

The chair step move is actually easy as long as you get that first step right... if I get another slow day I might post the out takes... ironically I am working xmas day so perhaps...

Nino the problem with dancing with the stars is:
A: I'm not a star
B: I can't dance

anyway it was just a bit of fun so I hope people enjoy.:D

Ha! That's great! I've liked that song since I heard it on the BBC's "Coupling" years ago. But now you've ruined it for me! I'll think about YOU dancing when ever I hear it.

ROTFL... When I get bored, I usually just start labeling equipment.

By the way, I had to use the google link to see it. And some of the other stuff there was funny as hell, too, like the VJ MII and backing up over the camera...

Holy crap! Did you really do that thing with the chair?!

cameragod

Yep. I had to find a chair with metal legs and a strong seat to take the weight but it was ok.

At first, I couldn't figure out why your video reminded me of Fatboy Slim's "Weapon of Choice" video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WW8flwpH-Q).

Then, I realized what it was: as Christopher Walken shuffles down a hallway between 2:30 and 2:40, you can see the camera's hood in the mirrors on the left of the screen for pretty much the duration of the shot.

Thank you. That was fun.
But man that must've been a really sloooooooooooooooooooow day. :p

Merry Christmas to you too.

Dude, what are you doing waiting for a news callback when you can run a steadycam like? Nice job.

Dude, what are you doing waiting for a news callback when you can run a steadycam like? Nice job.

When I’m shooting on the sidelines fore the locale rugby game there is Michael Hedges (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0373276/)multi Academy Award winner for his sound mixing running up and down with a 418 in his hands. Why does he do it?
I suspect the same reason I shoot news, we love it.

It’s sad but true that shooting news does nothing for and in fact probably hurts my serious production shooter rep, it pays less and is usually a lot more hassle all round…
But I love it. I hardly ever turn down a news day. At times it may be quick and dirty but I love the deadlines, the pressure to do it right first time with none of the toys. I just get a kick out of seeing the finished product at the end of the same day it was shot.

I actually got "pencil booked" while watching this... Naturally I forwarded the link to the production house that booked me, lol.
