I just got confirmation that B&H will be selling the EX1 for $6999. Normally the camera comes with 1 8GB card, but I also predict Sony will have a special offer for second 8GB card at least for the first month or two. That's not official yet, but my crystal ball is predicting it.

I think what Patssie meant was uncompressed stills of the camera's output, not beauty shots of the camera itself.

Just an FYI, maybe it will change, but B&H lists it at $6999. Other vendors I'm told (authorized Sony dealers) have it at $6449 so I'm sure B&H should at least price match. They may also pull that 'email me a better price' crap in order to harvest your email address before you see the $6449 price tag.
