It’s all about storytelling regardless of whether you’re shooting for the web or for broadcast. This seminar, offered by the National Press Photographers Foundation is for anyone who is telling stories with moving pictures and sound

Walk-in registrations are welcome for the 2007 Airborne TV Seminar in Rochester, NY on October 19th (critiques) and 20th (seminar) and Des Moines, IA with critiques on Saturday evening and the seminar on Sunday October 21st, 2007. Mailed and FAXed registrations will be accepted until October 12th. Walk in registration will also be available at the door.

There will be breakout sessions for both photographers and reporters and critiques (VHS tape only) at both stops.

Speakers include NPPA’s only three time Photographer of the Year, John Goheen; Editor of the Year, Joshua Shea from KCNC in Denver; Joe Fryer, runner-up winner of this year’s NPPA Photojournalism Reporting Award from KARE-TV in Minneapolis; and Deborah Potter, Executive Director of the NewsLab in Washington, DC.

I'll be in Rochester on the afternoon of the 19th. I love to watch the critiques. I'll be the one wearing the funny hat.

See you there.....

We'd love to see as many people as possible at both stops. This is our first time in Des Moines but the registration has been light there.

See ya,

Steve

Make it a campaign stop.
Hold a debate.
Do a seminar on how to chase around Presidential candidates. ;)
Have fun!

If you're coming to the Des Moines stop allow a few extra minutes to get to the station. The Des Moines Marathon is going on Sunday morning as well so you might had to dodge some sweaty skinny people.
