I know I've seen these before. I'm looking for a shotgun mic mount with two clamps so I can put my stick mic on right next to my shotgun mic. Obviously it would be nice if the stick mic mount wasn't a locking one, just a clamp.

Do you have another link for that? That one doesn't work for me.

Be careful.

A couple of years ago I stupidly ordered online the Sony CAC-12 - which costs about $200.

Well, the damn thing fits the camera OK - but the diameter is so small it won't hold an RE-50 handmic - or even the Sony wireless hand mic to go with the Sony slot-in WRR.

It can hold a Beyer 86 shotgun mic or 416 - but I already have that as my on-camera mic with a curly cord. I was specifically looking for a handmic holder - and stupidly didn't check the specs carefully.

Ended up never using it.

Well currently I have a holder for my RE-50 stick mic, and no external shotgun mic. I'm just using the VF mounted shotgun mic. But I want to be able to hold both on one mount, and I know they exist, because I remember seeing WDBJ guys using them all the time.

Like the one partway down the page? I think they have a slightly different one that more mounts to the camera body itself.

I have seen a double clamp exactly like what you're looking for, but it was actually a custom bracket made by that photog's station engineers at his request. I haven't seen one for sale.

What you can do instead is put a butterfly clamp...

... on a Rowi...

... and clamp the Rowi to the handle of your camera. Then you not only have a separate clamp for your stick mic, but you also always have a Rowi handy.

I posted asking for the same thing a few months ago.

We still can't source those mounts, so I eBay-ed something like this...

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/400120-REG/On_Stage_MY500_MY_500_Stereo_Microphone_Mount.html

It works well, but it doesn't have the adjustability of the mount that was in my previous post, but it's been serving me well for a few months now. **And it was hella cheap**
