"...After negotiations by phone, State Police moved in to apprehend Broussard. He asked for a TV 10 camera to be with that team. TV 10 Videographer Keith Verret was fitted with safety gear before traveling in a police unit moved towards the home."

Whaachagonna do... whachagonna do when they come for you...

Too bad I gotta watch this at work, since the video doesn't work on my Mac. :( ... That's another thing... why do so many TV stations' websites force the user to use Internet Explorer on Windows!? Talk about limiting your audience, especially the more tech-savvy ones who ARE going to be visiting your website, who use something better than the default browser installed in 98% of the world's computers.

Try the player Flip for Mac. I use VLC vlc.org for most .wmv files on my Mac. If all else fails download the Windows media player for osx. I also work in the IT field for a Hospital and numerous IT people use Macs at home. OSX is one of the most secure, and stable operating systems on the planet. Besides missing support for a few business apps and games OSX is a great alternative to windows. One reason I won't buy another copy of Windows is because Microsoft closed down two different auctions of Windows XP I had on Ebay. If you buy Windows you cannot resale it even if your computer is fried like mine was.

It was good thinking to get the guy on speakerphone and shoot the conversation at the desk. At first I thought it was recreation or just a shot to show the desk guy, but then we hear the conversation. That was cool.

I expected the "exclusive" video to be more spectacular, showing the approach, surrender, cuffing, etc. All we saw was the end of the cuffing and the stuffing. I thought it was inappropriate for them to make a big deal out of the exclusivity of the video since it was exclusive by circumstance and no effort on their part.

And what a shame those shows were so full of technical problems. Bad punches, late cues, timecode on the screen, audio not potted up...yikes!

Finally, somebody tell Mr. Steele that working at a CBS affiliate does not make him a member of the CBS news team. Lose the hat, Mikey.
