I know that this has been talked about, but if you could have a nice Photog Lounge, what would be in it? A nice large room, huge lockers, possible lighting grid on the ceiling, couches? Of course cable tv........ahhhh to dream......

LayZBoy - Playstation - a Door, so the Desk/ND can not see who is laying around. Fridge - for the cold beverages, just a few things I would add.

A TV that is bolted securely to the wall or tabletop so when it decides to sprout legs it will not be able to run off!

1: A place for my stuff, personal and work. Probably needs a lock.
2: A computer or more than one to log on and check memos, update time sheet, log on to B-Roll, etc. This could also be a place to get those omnipresent computer screen shots.
3: An area to do simple camera, equipment cleaning and pm. You just need a flat surface and some tools like screwdrivers, brushes, cloths, lens tissue, and such.
4: At least one TV so you know if the world is suddenly ending and they forgot to page you. Considering how so many are being tossed in favor of HD monitors, it should be easy to get the hardware.
5: A place to sit. So often we are the only ones without our own designated place to put our butts, like we aren't earning our keep if we aren't standing and walking. Let me sit, dammit, just five minutes!

You can spell our 'lounge', G-A-R-A-G-E
We're building a new building and we're getting a M-U-D R-O-O-M.
Maybe we can get a picture of dogs playing poker.

The one thing that we wish we had most is a shower. It would come in handy for big breaking news when you only have time to go by the station or are doing continuous coverage or are snowed in etc. The second thing we wished we had was a bunk bed rack which people could crash in when there are super short turnaround times.

I'd just like it so I could go to the gym before work and not have to shower there. We have one at our station, but it's a stall-type from the 1950's, and as you might guess, it's a little disgusting.

My wishes are simple, black paint, valvet on the couches, roll down projection screen with T-VO, a rockstar vending machine next to an expresso machine a Bose surround sound with an ipod adapter, and most importantly an answering machine, so when the desk calls it answers " wait wait Pause so you forgot pause okay I'll be right there" and large Thurber Photographs on the walls, hmmm. That would be a calm setting.
