old cam strap/ options?

Ok, whereas I'm not playing anymore, I have a toy just sitting here collecting dust.
My PortaBrace camera strap is still in good shape, so I don't wamt to just trash it. My first thought was to make it a guitar strap, but it's to long on one end ans to short on the other for that. (would have been great for the LesPaul, it's heavy)
It has occured to me to e-bay it, but before I go to the trouble, I was wondering if there would be a market for it, or do most stations provide them as standard equiptment?
I checked with the locak production house already, he don't want it.
