I was watching our news the other day and noticed our on-set HD's look like sh*t blue video. Is there any way to adjust color of on set TVs for studio-balanced cameras?

I've seen screens that have a variable color temperature setting on them. Short of that, I think you could probably be able to woof it in pretty close with a gel placed over the screen.

I've noticed the same thing with one of the affiliates here, most of their on set plasmas/LCD's look blue because they haven't figured out yet that just because they look good to your naked eye, doesn't mean they look the same on camera. Most monitors are set up to run at 6500K, very blue to a camera shooting 3200K. The easiest fix this is to shoot the offending monitor with one of the studio cams and look at it through a color monitor and then adjust the on-set monitor until it looks right on camera. It will probably look like crap to the naked eye on-set, but that doesn't matter, the people at home aren't in the studio.
