Avid Xpress free trial download?

Do any of you know if a 30-day trial is available? I've never worked much with Avid, but good god, they have a million different kinds of editing software.

They have FreeDV. It's a stripped down version of xpress pro.

It's fun to play with. Two tracks of video and audio only. It's picky about sound cards....Most keyboard shortcuts work, if you know them.....No time limit....

I'll have to add my second to the sound card pickyness, and add deck/camera pickyness as well...If it is not explicitly approved, it will cause hella problems. We were doing some short term set-up until we got licenses to go with the full XPress version and it pretty much blew up in our face...Locked up computers, crappy audio, unrecognizable files. But hey, it was free...
