Heads up on another bad client. Mowbray International. Has not paid in over 90 days and has not returned phone calls or emails. They are a very small Chicago based PR Firm that has since moved to the L.A. area in the past few months not telling vendors or even their accountant that they have moved from the area. Be for warned.

How much do they owe you? And are they going by a new name now?
Steve,
I have some frequent flier miles...let's fly to LA and show them how much they are missed in Chicago!

Mowbray is 1k late in payment. There "Producers" have beat around the bush long enough that I called and finally found their accountant. He did not know that they moved but the accountant passed me the companies CEO phone number...I called and calmly complained that their billing was behind and would love a check ASAP.
He said "I will take care of it".
Another call came from the "Producer/Billing" I guess...telling me how unprofessional I am in my business calling their CEO and looking for a check.
I told their rep that I was next to call their clients, their accountant again and the reps father in Illinois(Had her info and found her fathers number) until I get paid.
Mowbray does not do a lot in video production and I now see why....stay away from Mowbray!!!!!

They don't get it. It's our business. It's money we've earned and they owe us. Pisses me off. Unprofessional?! Pay your FRIGGIN' BILL! JERK!! I probably would have let loose. Good for you for keeping your cool.

OK, its time for B-roll to make a sticky posting for bad clients! I doubt they will do it but its worth a shot.

I once had a client pay me in chickens. I ended up leaving the TV biz and opening my own KFC franchise.

B-roll would be much better off had they paid you in comedy lessons.
