Got a client bringing a 790 in for a shoot tomorrow. Never run one. Anything to watchout for?

Thanks,

Great camera. Has excellent exposure range and is very forgiving. It's really very straight forward. A lot like a D600. I like to lower the black levels a little bit to enhance the contrast -- like down to -8 or so. There's not a lot you can do to screw things up with this camera.

Pretty much standard Sony camera fare. As long as you know how to navigate around a Sony menu, you should be good(assuming you have to adjust anything at all). If you're just shooting b-roll or off the shoulder stuff and not sit-downs, I'd hook it up to a monitor for a quick look to make sure there's no funky set-up or look that's not supposed to be there. Just kind of a CYA thing since you've never laid your hand on the camera before, even though it's the clients...
