Notice how the pilots look like their dressed for combat missions in Iraq, helmets and all!!!

I really wonder if stations realize how stupid they look when they put promos like this on the air???

& the "this chopper has 2 computers! thats right, 2 computers!!!"

wow, can I get a promo for my pants? between my personal cell, work cell & work pager, I walk around with 3 computers. thats right, 3 tiny computers!!! allowing me to have to silence three devices before an interview when other news station employees have only one device to silence

If you could get hold of the original footage, edit up and give it a dramatic V.O. how many ND's do you think would fall for the out of control chopper story?

Saying that if I was in a chopper flying like that you would probably not be able to see out of the windows for all the spew flying around the cabin.

I love how stations pay so much and promote their choppers and what do you see..."the crack dealer just bailed from the vehicle and is running into a field"

Now if they could fly directly into the "eye" of the storm and bring us special mega doppler 9 billion coverage and dramatic footage. Yeah, it's just a helicopter with a camera and microwave dish mounted on it. Sales execs see it as a marketing tool with flying logos. Many of the radio stations traffic copters get wrapped with some sponsor. Mountain Dew paid big bucks for a flying logo around Los Angeles during rush hour.
