I am in utter awe of how great that Fiesta Bowl game was tonight. I never thought I'd lose my voice cheering for a team I had otherwise not cared about my entire life... Congrats to the Broncos of Boise State, and here's to another reason for the dire need of a playoff system!!! Have a good night all, and god bless...

Ya...it was a good game. I would say that last play or even the lateral was the play of the year.

The hook & ladder play was ridiculous!

I liked how one of the SportsCenter anchors stated it, "If Rocky Balboa was a football team, he would be the Broncos!"

You mean that they got hammered for most of the game, and then came back in the last seconds?

Not that I care for football. BTW, why do you guys call it football when they rarely use their feet? Our game is football, yours is, well, handball. ;)

Your nearest equivalent is rugby, not soccer/futbol etc. The game initiates with a kick-off, field goals are scored by kicking the ball, extra point after touchdown is a kick of the ball, and the ball is kicked (punted) when the team fails to advance the requisite 10 yards within 4 plays. But yes, the ball does get advanced by hand most of the time via hand-offs or passes.

Besides, we already have a sport called handball. ;)

Regardless of what actual game is being played, in any sporting contest where someone wins at the last second, it's exciting. It certainly makes for good television!

Did you guys stay for the on the field post interview? The guy proposed to his cheerleader girlfriend. But the reporter let the cat out of the bag when he said " okay he wants to propose to you" or something like that.

The WHOLE game was INSANE! You can live several lifetimes and NEVER see anything like that ever again!

Actually no. BSU was leading for most of the game when Oklahoma had a few choise big plays, i.e. the interseption touchdown with 1:08 left in regulation.

That was some of the best football I have seen in a long long time.

I was lucky enough to get to work in time to see the frantic overtime escapades in their glory. Man, what a game!!

Was it my imagination or did the Turd nudge the cheerleader with his mic to get the answer??

It would be interesting to see if they actually get married in the future. She had no choice but to say yes. I bet she gave him an ear full later that night.

I bet he gave her more than an ear full.

Ian Johnson is one of the nicest and most generous people I have ever interviewed...A great guy and a fantastic football player...hopefully fame and money wont corrupt anyone on that team.

BSU has always been electrifying...Liberty Bowl against Louisville....Fort Worth Bowl against TCU...Last years MPC bowl against Boston College were all really great games...with fantastic endings...And as a BSU grad...I am glad to hear that you all loved the game as much as I did...puts our little college on the map.

I switched channels after the Oklahoma interception figuring BSU
was toast. Surfed back in time to see the hook and ladder replay
and road it out from there. I loved the gutsy call to go for two and win or lose it on that play. I'm usually a fan of the underdog, especially when it comes to this idiotic BCS "system" that leaves
you with more questions than answers. All you have to do is look at
Basketball's
"March Madness" to realize the success and benefits of a true playoff. I don't know if
BSU could run with Ohio State, but they deserve a chance to show what they have
given their undefeated record.

WORST GAME EVER!!!
I know everyone not emotionally involved thought it was a great game but OU played like S@$T all night long until the end. Not to take anything away from BSU, congrats and all, but that was the worst performance by Oklahoma all year. It is time Stoops fired Brent Venables and get a D-cor who can actually plan how to stop someone and quit leaving wide open recievers all night long! DAMN IT DAMN IT DAMN IT!!!

Sorry for the rant, carry on with sucking off the underdog now.

That underdog is 13-0.

Boom that.

You know every time I ask someone "Did you see that game?" they stop me at "did you see..." becuase they know what I am talking about. That game is still the talk of the edit halls and sports dpt.
