Despite 100% seller rating something about it doesnt seem right. 4 Arri 1k's starting at $750?

I don't know, seems to be on the level, at least that's how I feel right now. He does say there's a problem w/ one light - "3 are in good working condition, the 4th does not have a working spot/flood feature (probably can be repaired)."
Besides, the starting bid is $750. I've seen stuff like that on eBay and at prod. co auctions sell for higher than you could get them new. Though it's still a good idea to be cautious about anything bought sight unseen online.

In my experience, if someone has been on there for an extended period of time (two years or more) and has feedback that high, they're legit. And as Warren said, many folks start the bidding low to get the fish biting.
You could also get lucky. About a year ago, I bought an Ikegami betacam rig for $600. The guy selling it had feedback like this person, 100% and had been on there for a few years. When I got the cam, I ran the serial nos just in case, and it came up clean. We use the camera for backup at my station.
However, there is somebody who from time to time starts trying to sell Ikegami cameras for $100, but their auctions almost always get yanked as soon as they appear.
