i'll be LEAVING Pittsburgh for tomorrow's adventures and heading to Scranton for Casey's HQ. You know you've been in the biz awhile when you remember covering the candidate's father on election nights in the same city.

we go on live at 8pm and will be live throughout the night on our three local channels...while also providing live camera out of Scranton for our affiliates from Johnstown and Philly.

Columbus Ohio. Seems like all the national media is here. About 15 sat trucks have reserved spaces along with 200 media credential requests for the D's and 80 or so for the R's. Should be a long night.

Not sure yet--I am in southwest Florida so local races will be pretty much it--going from one victory party to the next more than likely. Maybe a live shot at one of them. We are covering the Negron-Mahoney race (Foley's vacant seat) but we figure they will be in more larger populated cities. Any advice to spice up video and interviews would be nice. Thanks.

I will be with Jim Webb in VA.. We will be doing a live shot with a pkg at 5, live shot with vosot at 6 and then live cut-ins every half hour until 12:30. They will not use us for every cut-in but we will be up a lot. Oh don't let me forget the morning show pkg if Jim Webb wins. Also we can't get access to the ballroom until after 4pm.. It's going to be a long day.

I've done a few live shots for MSNBC & Bloomberg regarding the Cardin/Steele Congressional race, but I'm not doing anything today. A friend has an invite to the O'Malley event at the Hippodrome and invited me to go along. So I guess I'll be partying w/ the new gov.

I saw a sat truck from WRC up here at the Hyatt hotel downtown.

While politicos, pundits, and poll watchers grab wood over what might or might not happen at the ballot box tomorrow, there's barely enough action here for a chub. Negative ads and dirty tricks took their toll on the primaries. Anything worth a live shot was decided last month. All that's left are a couple of poorly worded amendments to the state constitution, and a few D.C. seats.

Bitter? Nah. Mercifully I have been left out of poll night programming. Fathead and I will be on the Beat looking for something more newsworthy than the alderman race in Renaissance Village Trailer Park. Look for us in the D-Block along with the skiing squirrel and the kid with 11 toes.
