Anyone notice that ad in the "job listings" section? No company name, no contact name, no city or state, just a Yahoo email address. Seems rather shady to me. But then I've been accused of being skepitcal before.

Several shows I've worked with have used Yahoo/Gmail/Hotmail when soliciting video or extras or whatever,to prevent their servers from having a huge volume of email.They sort thru what they want,then contact via their main email addys.

I have been contacted by "hotmail" producers too. I'm always suspicious, but two have been for real. I think they are freelance producers. I'm doing a "hotmail" shoot next week that will land on HGTV. But I don't like those addresses either.
