alllllready here. did the bush/cavuto interview this morning (4am call time) and now i'm at the fox bureau doing live hits about castro in the news breaks....loooong day.

Well Castro should be a big story, considering he's one of the worlds longest lasting leaders.
The only two other people who have been in a similar job for a longer period are the King of Thailand 1946 & Queen Elizabeth in England 1952. Both of them only beat him by 13 & 7 years respectivly.

Fidel has been El presidente since 1959 and who was president then, Yes Eisenhower he's been in power since Alaska & Hawaii were made states.
Lots of history covered there so plenty of opportunities to make lots of stories regarding the period in world history he has seen during his tenure.
