View Full Version : Zylight....anyone own one yet?

i saw it at NAB and was impressed. solid construction, good power output, wide, even throw. 3200/5600 presets, dimmable and the ability to throw some color if wanted/needed.

i'd probably put it on the camera and put the a/c power supply in one of my light kits, so i could break it off the cam and use it to throw some color on the background without messing with those pesky gels...

just thinking out loud here....see what >I< do during the slow times?!

any real-world feedback?

I had a look at it. Really liked it but a bit on the expensive side for me.

yeah - thats why i don't want to just jump in....but somebody has to be first in the pool.

Somebody's buying them, they're on backorder. Just started shipping this month. I read somewhere else that demand was far exceeding supply.
