Anyone here work with WATV Productions?

I know it sounds like a TV station, but it's a production company based in CA.

Anyone here ever work for them? What are they and their pay habits like?

I've been called a few times by them recently, and a friend of mine has done some stuff for them, and is actually trying to work out a deal with them for a long term shoot down here with us. I turned down the calls that I got because of late notice and scheduling conflicts the first time. The second time they wanted me for three days with their betacam. I politely told the producer that I don't, under any circumstances, shoot beta, without my camera/gear. The shoot that my friend is talking to them about is on miniDV(DVX100A). We told them to figure out roughly when they want to shoot so that we could pencil in days and then challenge them for them if we get other calls, but they threw out some ridiculously low number, granted it was three months or more worth and it was guaranteed money even if you didn't shoot(but that also opened up the door for them to ride you like a rented mule), but it still would be financial and proffesional suicide. My buddy told them that there wasn't a real shooter in this market that would even half-way consider their current offer.
