That's what I had heard, too. Do the stations pay decently for the cost of living?

I worked there in '98
The pay was, I thought, low considering what it cost to live within 10 miles of the station. It was an awesome place to live even if you didn't really have the means.
when I was there the overtime was crazy abundant and the folks were no better or worse than anywhere else.
In fact there were only about 1or 2 area natives at the station.
It was an average experience.

I worked at WPTV back in the early 90's and again late last year. Not a bad place great people nice building, and not bad gear.

Just an FYI the other two stations in town are looking for Photogs too. WPEC & WPBF (both are now clients of mine). I would recomend any one of the three stations.

As far as the West Palm Beach area is... I love it... I grew up here and Just moved back to raise my family.

Cost of living is on the high end and pay is on the low end... but no one is paying now days (I hear Miaimi is paying in the low-mid 20's now). WPB I think is 25-30 grand a year depending on station and experience.
