editor demo tape

Someone I work with asked me what to put on a demo tape. Well I first advised them to put their strongest stuff first. The thing is that this person is an editor, and they do all of the segment opens, special projects, and longer form stories. I searched the threads and I could not find anything that helped out to much. What are some of the tings that editors need on tapes?

An editor I used to work with once did a short stop-animation movie. He had a photogs tape jumping into the deck--I can't remember what he did after that. He was a news editor, but he wanted his tape to stand out. After his special "intro" to his tape, he added on his special project stuff. Needless to say he got the job working with Oprah. Don't know if this helps or not....but try to do something that will make you stand out from the others. just my 2 cents.
