Did anyone catch the premiere tonight on Comedy Central? Was it totally on-point or what? HILARIOUS! This show is 'The Office' for our business.. I heard that the interview segments involve unsuspecting people who think they're there for a legitimate interviews??

"News travels fast...unless there's traffic." That's a great slogan. I'm gonna suggest that to our ND!

They barely got a chuckle out of me. Some industry things they got right, but a lot they got wrong. I can forgive the news background stuff that didn't ring true, but there just wasn't enough funny bits to keep me interested.
I wish them well.

Well, once a year it looks like. Guess we'll have to wait until 2007 for the next one..

Shocking, isn't it? I'm trying to get out of the house more and see what's going on in the world.

I just saw an episode on Comedy Central, that's some sad $#!^, I respect the producers of Pepper Dennis rather than those who dreamt this pile up. Who's the scruffy guy with the bowel issues, he's the photog isn't he. I watched gave it a chance, I begged for a laugh but got nothing. I'm going to check my listings for the next Pepper Dennis episode :(

The bearded one was Alan Finger...the director. He's a comedian who I last saw on the Dave Atel's "Insomniac" Tour. He was one of four...including Dave Atel and the "Tourgasm" genius Dane Cook. Funny guy, but I can't remember his name. I got a couple of chuckle from "Dog Bites Man". I think it's funny that it's set in Spokane. I'm not sure the show will appeal to anyone else not working in news, but then again...the success of "The Office" has nothing to do with paper sales. It's only the first episode, but I think I like it. I got it free on iTunes incase anyone doesn't get Comedy Central. The hotel may have free HBO, but that's about all. Another sketch show that looks promising is Tina Fey's "30 Rock", featuring Tracy Morgan and Alec Baldwin. "My Name is Earl" is IMO the best thing on right now, but this docucomedy looks like it has potential.
