My gal has moved off to Paris, and as good gals do is asking me to join her. Anyone know what is available for a Yank in Paris or France in general?

A lot of good freelancers base themselves in Paris, it is a gateway to the rest of Europe. You don’t need to speak French but it helps.

Thanks. any suggestion on how to break in? I dont speak French yet. But do have advantage of being born in Kruatland. So I have access through family for EU pass and working papers.

Is it the same as here, wher you just have to go and make yourself avail and cross the fingers? Any on eyou could point me to talk with over there?

I would first call all the booking agencies here in the grand ol USA and find out if they have any contacts.
