I work in a bureau and am about to be promoted to 'Bureau Chief', which basically means becoming a de facto ND. I would be in charge of all staff (including reporters), show content, dealing with stringers etc.
I am just wondering if anyone here has been in a similar position? How did you keep yourself organised? How did you do all the managerial/editorial stuff and continue to run the head cameraman side of things as well?
Any insight would be appreciated.
It's a fairly large step, but should be a good experience.
