Here's another reason I won't shoot screaming kids at a stadium.

Only On 4: Fence Collapses, Students Injured
WOODLAND HILLS, Pa. -- The following report -- Only On 4 -- by Westmoreland County Bureau Chief Jennifer Miele first aired Sept. 26, 2005, on Channel 4 Action News at 5 p.m.
It was a frightening scene at a local football game Friday night at Woodland Hills Stadium.
The mayhem was caught on tape by a Penn Trafford student videographer -- a fence went down, and so did the kids. Many lay there in shock-- some badly injured. Three students were taken immediately to the hospital.
Woodland Hills said they asked the students to back away from the fence earlier in the game -- but they didn't listen. When the high school videographer came to get some shots, they say the students started rushing the fence to get on camera.
Were they rushing it? It's hard to tell. But in the video, some of the kids are leaning on the fence.
"When I hit the ground and looked up and saw people hanging off the fences, it was kind of scary. When I saw the girls crying it was kind of scary," said Chris Serutti, who suffered a head injury in the incident.
"You'd think they'd have safer conditions to stand during the games," said Eva Kucic, who witnessed the event.
But Woodland Hills said conditions were safe, and that the fence that fell was 15 years old and in "decent" condition. The district also said that Penn Trafford fans pushed over the fence.
Woodland Hills also acknowledges that their stadium was built in the Depression era -- and that it is slated to undergo an $8 million renovation next spring.
Witnesses told Channel 4's Jennifer Miele that Penn Trafford kids did comply -- that they did move away from the fence. The same witnesses said that the area was really a walkway and that a new bunch of kids came through to wave at the camera -- with no idea that they weren't supposed to be there.
