One night before Ophelia threw a punch at the Carolina coast, I found myself with a little down time before the eleven o’clock live shot. I decided to disembark from the cargo hold of our satellite truck and stretch my legs by strolling around the hotel property. As soon as I walked around the front of the truck, I saw a huge black hunk of high dollar machinery, much like the one I just crawled out of, parked on the far side of the hotel parking lot. The rolling billboard owned by Fox 8 in High Point NC had snuck into my territory to set up shop on my beach.
