i was curious if anyone has any insight into editing in the washington/baltimore metro area? i know there are plenty of stations and some network bureaus. do places tell good stories or are they mostly running around getting breaking news? what is the average salary? anyone know of any positions open or who i might be able to email to look into something? i am just trying to get a feel for the area. thanks

You can call Lori Smith or Karen Jackson at WJLA the ABC station in Washington, DC. The pay is not much for good computer editors, and you will edit your but off from the time you get in until the time you leave.. 703-236-9480 That's the desk number..
