I am qutie intersted, but I am wondering if this is a real opeening or are they just trying to keep the resumes coming, or trying to restock their there VHS suppply hehe. Anyone have info?

I know a director there, I'll give her a call later and see if she can find out what's going on

RUN ! ! ! They probably just keep it up all the time to replace photogs that want to get the hell outta Dodge after they figure out how bad it is over there. Ch. 9 is the "if it bleeds, it leads" station.

I actually had an interview there while I was an intern (9 years ago). I thank God everyday that I didn't get it. It was an opening to replace a photog that left very, very quickly. He got tired of the abuse from one of the crazy (female) reporters(with dark hair)(can anyone guess who it was?). After their live shot, he had a police officer at the scene escort him while he packed up the truck(he was that scared that she was going to assault him), left the reporter at the scene, dropped of the truck, gear and his pager at the station and told the chief he'd be back in a minute and he left.

I also went there to feed some tape for a client. He told me to be careful, because they like to cherry-pick video. While I'm feeding the tape, I look into another edit bay and there's some @ss hole recording the video that's being fed out to someone else that they had no permission to use.

Several years ago they got in trouble (or at least their helicopter pilot did) for flying too low and too close to what is now Bank of America Stadium DURING a game. I saw the footage from another stations helicopter and he was dipping below the rim of the stadium and popping back up. I'm sure the shots were cool, but what a stupid move.

I guess if I was starving and out of work and really needed a job... I'd still look somewhere else first.
