DVC Pro 50

Can anyone please help me out? I just picked up a rental Panasonic SDX99P DVC Pro 50 & can't get into system mode to change format to 16x9 ---! If anyone out there can get back to me asap with the how-to on how to get into it, it would be appreciated! No time tomorrow to figure it out & nobody around to answer any questions tonight! I'll be checking for replies all night tonight --thanks in advance!

I assume you're talking about the SDX900?

Yes, it's the SDX900P -- sorry for the typo -- I got the manual, but it looks like the user menu is locked!!!? Have no idea why I can't get past that! Thanks for your help!

You should read pg.35 of the manual.
Hold the menu button for 3 seconds, then push the jog wheel in as if it were a button. That will take you deeper into the menu user pages. Scroll down the items with the jog wheel. Push the jog wheel to go to other menu pages. Operation of the menu wheel is almost identical to the Varicam. If your still having problems, call a Panasonic sales rep., The one I know is Fernando @ 813.920.9108

Dean Martin, a BIG THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP! It sure worked --- BTW, we also discovered by holding the menu button in while powering up the camera also brings the camera into the system mode.
