I am on the lookout for a new eye cup for my camera. I've been told there is something better than the normal rubber ones. Any body have any info?

There's something called the "i-cuff", but I've never actually used one. Check it out at www.i-cuff.com (http://www.i-cuff.com)

I use the I-cuff. It's much cheaper and it's cloth. I like it much better than the rubber ones.
Also, it works really well if you wear glasses, which sometimes I do when I take my contacts out.
click on product reviews on the left side of this page and you should be able to link to it.

Here are a couple of suggestions...

and a picture to help you visualize what you might be buying...

Plus if you look to the menu at left and click on PRODUCT REVIEWS you'll find some more info about the I-Cuff.

The i-cuff isn't nearly as nice as the Hoodman Hoodfinder. I bought an i-cuff when they came out several years ago and now I own two Hoodfinders.

edit: they're available in black and red, the website just shows the red cushions.

we recently put a new model I-cuff on one of our camera's, It is much nicer than the 5 year old one that I have. I've told the photog that got it he had better keep his eyes on it or I'll steel it.

OK, here's a budget solution that I bought for all the shooters I work with. Get a normal, regular, stretchy, terrycloth wristband (I searched around and found black ones with no logo on sale for $1.99 at a sports store) Slip that over the eyepiece (bending the rubber back as required) and there you have it! Soft, blocks light, you can flip it around if you sweat it up and it gets icky and you can drop it in the wash with your socks and re-use it as much as you want.
I can't lay claim to the idea, I saw a shooter named Ted Hart use one and I was impressed enough to send them around as Christmas gifts one year. Now I always keep a few in my kit as shooters I work with always ask for more.

Like many people, I used a sweatband/wristband on my viewfinder for a long time, and while very economical, they are no where near as comfortable as the Hoodfinder. And as a bonus, it's a tax write-off. :D
