...is here in AZ. Listening to crews working a 2 alarm brush assignment out here, second major brush fire in as many days. High winds, low humidity, lotsa fuel thanks to all that rain...
Anyone doing any stories about wildfires yet? I have a bad feeling that there will be plenty of them to shoot this year.

Ya we have had a few brush fires here. I hear that Alaska has got a big one on their hands now. We are getting some well welcomed rain but I bet this year is going to be HUGE!!!

We'll be out there too once the rain stops...it's always fun to watch someone go through that annual right of passage out here

We have already had five this year. The one Pete is talking about was near Homer. It is pretty much under control now.
Last year all the fires we had up here burned about 6.7 Million acres. If you do the math, that is roughly the size of the state of Massachusetts.

We had a five acre fire the other day. Does that count?
