hey everyone,

the last 3 years have been great, but the time has come for me to say adeu...

i have made the decision to leave television news. i'll be working in a warehouse so i can go back to school to finally earn that pesky electrical engineering degree i've been wanting for so long.

i'll be back every once in a while to just check up and share what little knowledge i feel i need to, and i've already let my replacement in on a little secret of mine called "b-roll.net"

my last day in tv news will be april 14. i wish you all well and may all your video be warm and your wireless never crackle.

cheers,
aaron

<Good luck>

Boy...another long time vet leaving the biz. You must have many stories to tell from cedar rapids.
like the time a cow caused a traffic jam. Sorry to see you go.

Leave it to the unregistered coward to be a complete tool. Classy!

Good luck, Raven. There IS life outside TV news, though you may have attended your last meth lab bust (unless you're into that kind of thing). Whenever you get the itch to get back in the biz, simply log on here. Our bitching and backstabbing should cure that pretty quickly.

Enjoy out-earning most of us!

Ravenm,

Best of luck to you. I'm sure it was a decision that wasn't made easy.

I'm sure you'll get a pay bump one day though. :eek:

Congratulations! You'll have better pay, fewer hours, less stress and more respect, what more could you ask for?

Good luck dude! In a few years when you have a new job, and you're sitting on your comfy couch watching the evening news. Remember to raise a beer to us poor bastards doing live shots in the snow and rain. :)
