I have looked through the menu and all over the camera to find what setting the zebras are set at. Anyone know where I can find that in the camera or do I need the setup card to find out the settings? Thanks

To get to ZEBRA levels sdjustments, flip MENU switch to SET while pushing the SHIFT/ITEM and + buttons (this will give you access to "engineering" pages/settings). Pushing PAGE button will take you through different pages -- go to the page that says VF OPERATION on top.
I never use factory settings (they adjust zebra level for white), instead I adjust it for white skin (623 milliVolts or 084 units on my Panni D700, depends how GAMMA curve is set on your camera).
So, on my camera the settings are:
ZEBRA1 DETECT 084
ZEBRA2 OFF.
The best way to adjust zebra level FOR YOUR TASTE is to have smb sit in the studio, lights on, connect video out of the camera to a good monitor, expose the face properly and then play with different ZEBRA settings.
When I shoot a properly lit talking head, I let zebra appear slightly -- it shows where I will be losing texture on the skin.

Before you do that, you might want to make sure you properly set up the monitor (http://www.videouniversity.com/tvbars2.htm) first. You can never really trust a monitor that you didn't set up to bars first.

. You can never really trust a monitor I said, a good monitor. And a monitor is, by definition, smth you can monitor with. Otherwise, this is just a "TV" or a screen.
We have TVs and "screens" where I work, though.
