Anybody got any experience on this? I am calculating for 5mpg @ 2.00 per gal avg. on deisel. Sound close?

I just got done with a move and I had a 17' deisel and got around 10 MPG. I also drove across some passes. There were some big hills.

I drove a 24' recently. ALthough I didn't really payattention to MPG, I was surprised when I stopped for gas and dropped almost $100. THey didn't really tell me how big the tank was, so I'm glad I was carrying enough dinero. It took two fill-ups to get from North CArolina to Alabama.

Depending on headwinds, gas mileage on those things ranges from bad to crap. Be sure you have a few hundred at least budgeted for it.

I drove from Maryland to SW Florida in a Ryder that had a 73 mph governer gear! It sucked. We had a convoy of 4 cars and they always had to wait up for me. Or unless there was a nice long downhill section! 21 hrs.
